Closed (under armpit) Heart Surgery
Surgical procedures which are called scientifically as “ right anterolateral mini thoracotomy” and made to replace or repair heart valve with 4-5 cm small incision from armpit without any incision on any part of the body and muscle and bone. The only difference between open heart surgery and closed surgery is only insertion site. In both cases, a standard hearth surgery procedure is performed. The closed heart surgeries (under arm pit) are performed without an incision of 26-30 cm on sternum as such in open heart surgeries.
